Cheryl Lee Congdon is an aspiring author who also has an extensive background guiding regional and national sales efforts spanning verticals such as travel, sports, and entertainment. The personal drive and passion that Cheryl L. Congdon has in her life and for writing came from the experience of growing up with a mother who was born blind, and as a child taking on the role of being the visionary, the watcher and the protector providing the sight her family needed.

Looking back at her childhood, living within a family in which every member was blind, Ms. Congdon has authored a memoir that recounts this journey. She has also crafted a memoir focused on infertility and the pain, loss, grief, and acceptance involved in working through an issue that many women face. A companion work she intends to complete, “Letters from Childless Women,” will bring together letters and insights from women from all walks of life who have been through divorce, infertility, and other life situations that challenged their resilience.

Cheryl L. Congdon has attended numerous writing retreats over the years and generated interest in her works from publishing houses through initial query letters. Her passions extend to attending writing conferences, spiritual and self-growth teachings and conferences such as A Course in Miracles, Brene Brown and Tony Robbins among others. With a strong community presence, Cheryl Lee Congdon volunteered with the recent presidential campaign of spiritual leader and politician Marianne Williamson in Las Vegas striving to improve the consciousness of herself and her community.
